FAQ

How do I know GloBiz is a good fit for my business?

We can usually provide value for any legitimate business or non-profit organization. However, there are locations, specific industries and situations where we may not be a good fit. The availablility of the right expert within our partner network is also a factor. After a confidential discussion of your situation we will quickly let you know if we think we can be a good fit.

Where is GloBiz located?

Since 2023 the GloBiz core team is operating primarely in Utah. Our company with its senior partners was based in Florida where we started in 2004 as Globiz Consulting Corp.. Since then, GloBiz shifted from more international focus to an increasingly US based approach, serving now the fast growing area of Utah around Salt Lake City. The newly remodeled SLC airport is our gateway to quickly reach our clients in person. Some of our partners and experts live in California and Florida.

Do you take on international projects?

We've been working on various international projects but increasingly focus more locally. If we can provide insights and add value to projects within EU countries, especially being familiar with various real estate related business activities in Austria and Germany, we'd be happy to get involved.

What is the scope of a typical project?

We've leaned that there is no typical project. A relatively small project like finding and integrating a standard cloud solution into an existing business process that can sometimes be done within a few weeks. A complex engagement with a business can stretch over months.. We've reviewed the development of specific software, restructuring accounting processes and in a rare cases provided temporary management in order to fill sudden vacancies.

How do you get compensated?

Depending on the number of people, type and amount of work involved, compensation is usually based on an hourly rate, billed weekly or monthly. Interim Executives are based on daily or monthly rates.  A good start is our client's budget and a defined scope of work, which then becomes the base for a retainer.
